The aim of this project is the development of a electronically assisted pressure cooker for the domestic market that includes monitoring of the cooking process which can be accessed via app on a smartphone.
The aim of this project is to introduce a new generation of pressure cookers which will appeal to young and health-conscious people and simplify the cooking process. The most innovative feature of the pressure cooker is the monitoring of the cooking process. Within the app, users can choose the food they wish to cook and subsequently receive instructions regarding cooktop temperature and duration. The technical element of this innovation is the to-be developed mechatronic system, consisting of sensors, a sensor unit, energy-harvesting and the smartphone app, which will monitor the cooking process.
