Upcoming Security Calls as Horizon 2020 enters its final year

For 2020, there is still a total of €286 million in funding available for Security calls across 21 topics. All of these are 1-stage call topics with a single deadline in August 2020. The budget is broken down into four Calls for proposals, alongside other actions which complement the content of the Calls:

- Disaster-Resilient Societies
- Fight against Crime and Terrorism
- General Matters
- € 69 million for Digital Security
- Cybersecurity, Digital Privacy and data protection
- € 21 million for Protecting the infrastructure of Europe and the people in the European smart cities
- € 20 million for Artificial Intelligence and security: providing a balanced assessment of opportunities and challenges for Law Enforcement in Europe
- € 10 million for other actions
