The final Food Calls in Horizon 2020

For 2020, there is still a total of €555 million funding available for Food across 44 call topics. 21 of these are 2-stage topics with deadlines in January 2020 for the short proposal and September 2020 for the full proposal. 23 are 1-stage call topics with a single deadline in January 2020. The budget is broken down into four Calls for proposals, alongside other actions which complement the content of the Calls.

Deadlines on January 22, 2020 (first stage) and September 8, 2020 (second stage)
The results of the first stage will be known at most thee months after the deadline, giving proposal writers about five months to write the full proposal. The second stage could take up to five months to evaluate. The grant agreements are to be signed before May 8, 2021.
